Abstract: Tangent will be discussing the different Microsoft licensing agreements available for government agencies. In particular, the Cloud Solutions Provider (CSP) model. They will discuss advantages and disadvantages of each model and how governments are taking advantage of each agreement type. With Microsoft agreements there is seldom a 'one size fits all' and Tangent will help provide some clarity into which one might be best for your organization.

Abstract: Jason Kirkland will demonstrate The City of Lewisville’s performance metrics app used to show city-wide, live metrics and stats. Their system was developed in-house and is based on SQL queries written against various departmental databases. The results are calculated, cached and subsequently made available on a public website. The system eliminates the need for departments to submit monthly report values to city management and is instead based on querying their live operational data.
