Shopping and Site Seeing in San Antonio!
Tuesday, May 22 - 10:00 am - 2:30 pm
Join us for all the sights, sounds and tastes that historic downtown San Antonio has to offer. Start the day with a walking tour or catch a trolley that will take you past the regal Alamo and end in the historic El Mercado. The rich culture of San Antonio abounds throughout the plazas of Market Square. A three-block outdoor plaza lined with over 80 restaurants, shops and produce stands near San Antonio's city center, Market Square is the largest Mexican market in the U.S. Shops sell everything from hand-embroidered dresses to leather belts. Market Square's working artists, musicians, dancers and major cultural events give it a rich and lively cultural atmosphere.
From there you will make your way back to the Westin Hotel where you will board one of San Antonio’s famous river barges set for a private lunch from the Rio Rio Cantina - one of the Riverwalk’s famous Mexican restaurants. Enjoy lunch and festive libations while your guide highlights the city’s historic background and robust culture as you leisurely make your way along San Antonio’s beautiful river walk.
The cost per person is $50.00 and includes a private riverwalk boat tour, appetizers, lunch and two drink tickets.
